Danish abstract	Denne standard specificerer en metode til bestemmelse af den samlede svovlmængde i olieprodukter, naturgas og olefiner. Metoden kan anvendes for produkter med et svovlindhold inden for området 1 til 10.000 mg/kg og er især egnet for destillater med et samlet svovlindhold på under 300 mg/kg. Prøveemner som er tyktflydende, stærkt aromatiske, eller som har et højt svovlindhold kan først fortyndes med en svovlfrit opløsningsmiddel.
English abstract	This standard specifies a method for the determination of total sulfur in petroleum products, natural gas and olefins. The method may be applied to products having sulfur contents in range 1 to 10 000 mg/kg and is particularly suitable for distillates with total sulfur contents of less than 300 mg/kg. Test samples which are viscous, highly aromatic, or of high sulfur content may be first diluted with a sulfur-free solvent.
