    This part of ISO 15012 defines a laboratory method for measuring the welding fume capture efficiency of ongun extraction systems. It is applicable to integrated on-gun systems and to systems where a discrete extraction system is attached to the welding torch close to the arc area. The methodology is suitable for use with all continuous wire welding processes, all material types and all welding parameters. The method can be used to evaluate the effects of variables such as extraction flow rate, extract nozzle position, shielding gas flow rate, welding geometry, welding torch angle, fume emission rate etc. on capture efficiency but can also be used, with specific test conditions, to determine capture efficiency.

    This standard specifies the equations to be used in a simulation method for calculating the non steady transfer of heat and moisture through building structures. It also provides a benchmark example intended to be used for validating a simulation method claiming conformity with this standard, together with the allowed tolerances. The equations in this standard take account of the following storage and one-dimensional transport phenomena: - heat storage in dry building materials and absorbed water; - heat transport by moisture-dependent thermal conduction; - latent heat transfer by vapour diffusion; - moisture storage by vapour sorption and capillary forces; - moisture transport by vapour diffusion; - moisture transport by liquid transport (surface diffusion and capillary flow). The equations described in this standard account for the following climatic variables: - internal and external temperature; - internal and external humidity; - solar and longwave radiation; - precipitation (normal and driving rain); - wind speed and direction. The hygrothermal equations described in this standard shall not be applied in cases where: - convection takes place through holes and cracks; - two-dimensional effects play an important part (e.g. rising damp, conditions around thermal bridges, effect of gravitational forces); • hydraulic, osmotic, electrophoretic forces are present; daily mean temperatures in the component exceed 50 °C.

    This European Standard specifies the rotating drum test apparatus and associated test method for the reproducible production of dust from a bulk material under standard conditions, and the measurement of the inhalable, thoracic and respirable fractions of this dust, with reference to existing European Standards, where relevant (see Clause 6). This method is suitable for general bulk material handling processes, including all those processes where the bulk material is dropped, or can be dropped. It differs from the continuous drop method presented in EN 15051 3 in this European Standard, the same bulk material is repeatedly dropped, while in EN 15051 3, the bulk material is dropped only once, but continuously. Furthermore, this European Standard specifies the environmental conditions, the sample handling and analytical procedures, and the method of calculating and presenting the results. A classification scheme for dustiness is specified, to provide a standardised way to express and communicate the results to users of the bulk materials. This European Standard is applicable to powdered, granular or pelletised bulk materials. A standard sample volume is used. This European Standard is not applicable to test the dust released when solid bulk materials are mechanically reduced (e.g. cut, crushed) or to evaluate handling procedures for the bulk materials.

    This standard specifies test cases to be applied to and correctly handled by EVs (EVCC) and EVSEs (SECC) implementing ISO 15118-2. The system under test will comprise: (A) A simulated SECC to verify the correct behaviour of a real EVCC (B) A simulated EVCC to verify the correct behaviour of a real SECC The test documents will specify test cases for all requirements defined in ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-3 verifying e.g. the following aspects: 1. Correct handling of basic signalling (as defined in ISO 15118-3) and states as basis for high level communication incl. various trigger conditions after plug-in process. 2. Initialization of communication and charge spot discovery. 3. Connection establishment, interruption and reestablishment. 4. Proper implementation of security measures defined in ISO 15118-2. 5. Proper implementation of the individual profiles and use-cases described in ISO 15118-1 (e.g. load levelling, plug & charge payment, authentication, etc.). The test cases will cover positive tests (defined according to ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-3). Also, error scenarios (e.g., incorrectly formatted requests, invalid content of messages, disconnect during communication, power outage and restart, security tests) as well as tests for timing behaviour shall be defined which also have to be handled by EVCC and SECC to ensure interoperability of EVSEs and EVs. The test cases will be structured according to the OSI layer (1…7) whereas it has to be determined during the creation of the test specification whether certain OSI layers will be tested from a functional perspective (e.g., PHY, IPv6, TCP, …), or not tested at all (if these are well known protocols). The specific contents of ISO 15118-2 will be tested thoroughly. The test cases will include standard test case attributes like pre-conditions, test steps, expected results to evaluate a pass or a fail and post-conditions to be applied to return the system under test to a safe state.

    This International Standard specifies conformance tests in the form of an Abstract Test Suite (ATS) for a System Under Test (SUT) implementing an Electric Vehicle- or Supply Equipment Communication Controller (EVCC or SECC) with support for PLC-based High Level Communication (HLC) and Basic Signaling according to ISO/IEC 15118-3. These conformance tests specify the testing of capabilities and behaviors of an SUT, as well as checking what is observed against the conformance requirements specified in ISO/IEC 15118-3 and against what the implementer states the SUT implementation's capabilities are. The capability tests within the ATS check that the observable capabilities of the SUT are in accordance with the static conformance requirements defined in ISO/IEC 15118-3. The behavior tests of the ATS examine an implementation as thoroughly as is practical over the full range of dynamic conformance requirements defined in ISO/IEC 15118-3 and within the capabilities of the SUT (see NOTE 1). A test architecture is described in correspondence to the ATS. The conformance test cases in this part of the standard are described leveraging this test architecture and are specified in TTCN-3 Core Language for the ISO/OSI Physical and Data Link Layers (Layers 1 and 2). The conformance test cases for the ISO/OSI Network Layer (Layer 3) and above are described in Part 4 of this standard.

    This part of this International Standard specifies the requirements of the physical and data link layer for a High Level Communication (HLC), directly between battery electric vehicles (BEV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) based on a wireless communication technology and the electrical charging installation Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). The wireless communication technology is used as an alternative to the wired communication technology as defined in ISO 15118-3. It covers the overall information exchange between all actors involved in the electrical energy exchange. ISO 15118 (all parts) is applicable for conductive charging as well as Wireless Power Transfer (WPT). For conductive charging, only “IEC 61851-1 modes 3 and 4” EVSEs supporting HLC, are covered by this part of ISO 15118. For wireless power transfer, charging sites according to IEC 61980 and ISO 19363 are covered by this part of ISO 15118.

The standard covers a broad application field of these safety showers reaching from heavy industry production to electronics and pharma clean room production; thus, the standard specifies a framework for safety showers (such as different classes) from which the user can choose the appropriate product based on his risk assessment and national regulations.
