Security Requirements for Trustworthy Systems Managing Certificates for Electronic Signatures - Part 3: Cryptographic module for CSP key generation services - Protection profile (CMCKG-PP)

    Oprindelse:
    CEN
    Status
    Forslag om nyt arbejdsemne vedtaget
    Beskrivelse
This Protection Profile (PP) defines the security requirements of a Cryptographic Module (CM) used by CSP as part of its trustworthy system to provide Key Generation Services. The Cryptographic Module, which is the Target of Evaluation (TOE), is used for the creation of subscriber private keys, and loading them into Secure Signature Creation Devices (SSCD) as part of a Subscriber Device Provision Service. Such keys are referred to in this PP as Subscriber Signature Creation Data (Subscriber-SCD). A cryptographic module for CSP key generation services is needed particularly for initialisation of SSCD Type 2 [7]. The TOE may implement additional functions and security requirements, e.g. for CSP Signing Operations. However, these additional functions and security requirements are not subject of this Protection Profile. This PP is Part 2 extended and Part 3 conformant. The assurance level for this PP is EAL4, augmented with ADV_IMP.2 (implementation of the TSF), AVA_CCA.1 (vulnerability assessment, covert channel analysis) and AVA_VLA.4 (vulnerability assessment, highly resistant). The minimum strength level for the TOE security functions is 'SOF high' (Strength of Functions High).

The public keys are referred as Certification Service Provider Signature-Verification Data (CSP-SVD). The TOE may implement additional functions and security requirements, e.g. for the creation of Signature Creation Data (SCD) for loading into Secure Signature Creation Devices (SSCD) as part of a Subscriber Device Provision Service. However, these additional functions and security requirements are not subject of this Protection Profile. This PP is Common Criteria Part 2 extended and Common Criteria Part 3 conformant.

Ambient air - Report on nitro- and oxy-PAH - Origin, toxicity concentrations and measurement methods

    Oprindelse:
    CEN
    Status
    Forslag om nyt arbejdsemne vedtaget
    Beskrivelse
This Technical Report is focused on the presence of nitro- and oxy-PAH compounds in ambient air. It describes how nitro- and oxy-PAH are formed, what typical concentrations are found, what is known about their toxicity, and what sampling and measurement techniques are available. The conclusions of this report are that nitro- and oxy-PAH concentrations are present in the atmosphere in level that are of concern regarding their high toxicity. Information on the presence of these compounds in ambient air is at least as relevant as information about PAH. Validated techniques for the measurement of nitro- and oxy-PAH are available.

    Forslag om nyt arbejdsemne vedtaget
    Beskrivelse
This European Standard specifies a test method simulating practical conditions for establishing whether a product for hygienic handrub reduces the release of virus contamination on hands when rubbed onto the artificially contaminated hands of volunteers. NOTE 1 Attention is drawn to the fact that tests on human volunteers are the subject of legal provisions in certain European countries/regions. This European Standard applies to products for hygienic handrub for use in areas and situations where disinfection is medically indicated. Such indications occur in patient care, for example: – in hospitals, in community medical facilities and in dental institutions; – in clinics of schools, of kindergardens and of nursing homes. and may occur in the workplace and in the home. It may also include services such as laundries and kitchens supplying products directly for the patient. EN 14885 specifies in detail the relationship of the various tests to one another and to use recommendations. NOTE 2 This method corresponds to a phase 2, step 2 test.

Electronic fee collection - Interoperable application profiles for information exchange between Service Provision and Toll Charging

    Oprindelse:
    CEN
    Status
    Forslag om nyt arbejdsemne vedtaget
    Beskrivelse
The standard on Information exchange between service provision and toll charging (EN ISO 12855) is a so-called tool-box standard. As such it is provides useful but not sufficient support to ensure technical interoperability. The aim of this work item is to produce a profile standard that provides appropriate technical interoperability support the EFC information exchange between Service Providers (SPs) and Toll Chargers (TCs): - based on DSRC - based on GNSS/CN - autonomous systems - and potentially also video-based systems This standard will cover the definition of interoperable application profiles (IAP) applicable for the use of EN ISO 12855. These profiles define a specific set of parameter options, parameter values and procedures for an interoperable exchange of data between the central equipments of TCs and Toll SPs in Europe. It specifies which of the optional parts of the information objects to use and defines transfer mechanisms and supporting functions not defined in the base standard to ensure the interoperability between TCs and Toll SPs. This profile standard will cover: - Exchange of information between the Central Equipments of the two roles Service Provision and Toll Charging e.g. o Charging related Data (Exception list, Toll declarations, Billing details) o Administrative Data (Trust objects, Context data, QA parameters, Address data for enforcement) o Confirmation Data - Transfer mechanisms and supporting functions - Information objects, data syntax and semantics - Implementation conformance statement proforma, as a basis for assessment of conformity to specification - potentially illustrated by examples of data interchanges (informative) This IAP will be defined using the concept of ""International Standardised Profiles (ISP)"" as defined in ISO/IEC TR 10000-1. The ISP-concept is specifically suited for defining interoperability specifications where a set of base standards can be used in different ways. This is exactly the ca ...

Earthworks - Continuous Compaction Control (CCC)

    Oprindelse:
    CEN
    Status
    Forslag om nyt arbejdsemne vedtaget
    Beskrivelse
This standard provides guidance, specifications and requirements on the use of Continuous Compaction Control (CCC) as a quality control method in earthworks by means of roller integrated measuring and documentation systems. The CCC method is suitable for soils, granular materials and rockfill materials which can be compacted using vibratory rollers. NOTE: A continuous Compaction Control (CCC) technology based on the measure of propel energy necessary to overcome the rolling resistance is also available and can be used as a quality control method in earthworks. The propelling power of the compactor provides an indication of the material stiffness and it is measured as a function of the machine ground speed, slope angle and rolling resistance. This method is not included in this document.
