    This European Standard specifies a method for carrying out a sustained tensile load test on a reinforcing steel bar (rebar) anchored in a concrete block. The test is performed to determine the tensile creep under standard conditions, or under maximum service temperature conditions recommended by the manufacturer. The test applies to products based on synthetic resins or hybrid synthetic resin/hydraulic cements. It does not include those products intended to be used as grout around tendons used for the prestressing of concrete.

    This European Standard specifies a gas chromatographic method for the quantitative determination, in unleaded petrol having a final boiling point not greater than 220 °C, of individual organic oxygenate compounds in the range 0,17 % (m/m) to 15 % (m/m) in a direct analysis (without dilution), and total organically bound oxygen up to 3,9 % (m/m). For samples for which one of the oxygenate compounds content is higher than 15 % (m/m), a procedure with a dilution of the sample before the analysis is given. The revision concerns updating the test method with data discussed in WG9 and comments received at formal vote.

    This standard specifies safety and hygiene requirements for the design and manufacture of rotary rack ovens with one or more rotary racks. These ovens are used in the food industry and shops (bakeries, pastry-making, etc.) for the batch baking of foodstuffs containing flour, water and other additives. This standard applies to ovens used only for food products except for those containing volatile flammable ingredients. The control of the humidity of the air in the baking chamber is by the production and introduction of steam around normal atmospheric pressure. The following machines are excluded : – experimental and testing machines under development by the manufacturer ; – domestic appliances. This standard covers the technical safety requirements for the installation, cleaning and maintenance of these machines as defined in 3.12 of EN 292-1:1991 and in the manufacturer's instruction handbook. The significant hazards covered by this standard are mechanical (shearing, trapping, impact, loss of stability), electrical, thermal, ergonomic and those resulting from lack of hygiene. They are specifically listed in 4. Noise is not considered to be a significant hazard from rotary rack ovens. This does not mean that the manufacturer of the machine is absolved from reducing noise and making a noise declaration. Therefore a noise test code is proposed in Annex B. The hazards from the use of gaseous fuel by gas appliances are not covered by this standard. This standard applies only to machines manufactured after the date of issue of the standard.

    This European Standard describes a test method for measuring a quantity representative of the intrinsic characteristics of airborne sound insulation for traffic noise reducing devices: the sound insulation index. The test method is intended for the following applications: - determination of the intrinsic characteristics of airborne sound insulation of noise reducing devices to be installed along roads, to be measured either in situ or in laboratory conditions; - determination of the in situ intrinsic characteristics of airborne sound insulation of noise reducing devices in actual use; - comparison of design specifications with actual performance data after the completion of the construction work; - verification of the long term performance of noise reducing devices (with a repeated application of the method); - interactive design process of new products, including the formulation of installation manuals. The test method is not intended for the determination of the intrinsic characteristics of airborne sound insulation of noise reducing devices to be installed in reverberant conditions, e.g. inside tunnels or deep trenches or under covers. Results are expressed as a function of frequency in one-third octave bands, where possible, between 100 Hz and 5 kHz. If it is not possible to get valid measurement results over the whole frequency range indicated, the results need to be given in a restricted frequency range and the reasons for the restriction(s) need to be clearly reported.

This European Standard is applicable to GRP-UP, with flexible or rigid joints (see 3.33 and 3.34), primarily intended for use in buried installations. It is applicable to pipes, fittings and their joints of nominal sizes from DN 100 to DN 4000, which are intended to be used for the conveyance of water at temperatures up to 50 °C, with or without pressure. This European Standard covers a range of nominal sizes, nominal stiffnesses and nominal pressures. This European Standard is applicable to fittings made using any of the following techniques: a) fabricated from straight pipe; b) moulded by: 1) filament winding; 2) tape winding; 3) contact moulding; 4) hot or cold press moulding.
