    This European Standard specifies requirements for four types of thermoplastic multi-layer (non-vulcanized) hoses and hose assemblies for carrying hydrocarbons, solvents and chemicals. It specifies bore sizes from 25 mm to 300 mm, working pressures from 4 bar to 14 bar and working temperatures from -30 °C to 150 °C. Type 1 hoses are suitable for vapour applications. Types 2 to 4 hoses are suitable for liquid applications. NOTE 1 – The attention of users is drawn to Annex A concerning the selection of the material for the inner wall of layers and any polymeric coating of the internal wire helix related to the chemical(s) to be conveyed by the hoses and/or hose assemblies. NOTE 2 – The manufacturer should be consulted where a polymeric coated internal wire is being considered for use with low conductivity hydrocarbons or chemicals.     This European Standard specifies requirements for two types of thermoplastic multi-layer (non-vulcanized) transfer hoses and hose assemblies for carrying liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied natural gas. Each type is subdivided into two classes, one for onshore duties, and the other for offshore. This European Standard is applicable for hose sizes from 25 mm to 250 mm, working pressures from 10,5 bar to 25 bar and operating temperatures from – 196 °C to + 45 °C. NOTE – Offshore LNG hose assemblies are also specified in EN 1474-2. WARNING – Persons using this European Standard should be familiar with normal laboratory practice. This standard does not purport to address all the safety problems, if any, associated with its use.     This International Standard provides test methods and acceptance criteria for the evaluation of the electromagnetic compatibility of construction machinery as defined in ISO 6165 for earth-moving machinery and ISO 8811 for road-construction machines. It deals with General EMC requirements under typical EMC environmental conditions. Functional safety requirements are covered in part 2 of ISO 13766. Electrical and/or electronic component(s) or separate technical unit(s) intended to be fitted in construction machinery are also dealt with in this International Standard. The following electromagnetic disturbance phenomena are evaluated: - broadband and narrowband electromagnetic interference; - electromagnetic field immunity test; - broadband and narrowband interference of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies; - electromagnetic field immunity test of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies; - electrostatic discharge; - conducted transients. Construction machinery can have DC and/or AC internal electrical power supply systems. Machines that are designed to be supplied by the „Public Mains Network“ are specifically excluded.

This standard is only relevant for functions of machine control systems which meet the design requirements greater or equal SIL 1 as defined in ISO 15998 or greater or equal Performance Level b as defined in ISO 13849. Electrical and/or electronic component(s) or separate technical unit(s) intended to be fitted in construction machinery under the restriction of SIL 1 and Performance Level b as applicable above are also dealt with in this International Standard.     This European Standard applies to pedestrian controlled floor sawing machines having power feed, manual feed or hand feed (see 3.2) for sawing, grooving and milling floor surfaces made of concrete, asphalt and similar mineral building materials where the main power is supplied by electric or internal combustion prime engine. The power transmission of floor sawing machines is mechanical or hydraulic. This European Standard deals with all significant hazards pertinent to floor sawing machines, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see clause 4). This European Standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards. These machines are designed for use with rotating cutting-off wheels for wet and dry cutting. These cutting-off wheels can be either a diamond cutting-off wheel or a boron nitride cutting-off wheel. NOTE – Other types of cutting tools may also be used provided that they fall within the design and usage parameters of the machine. This standard does not cover this. This European Standard does not apply to: - self-propelled ride-on floor sawing machines; - machines moving along a rail; - hand-held portable cutting off machines for construction materials mounted on a mobile support, to be used as floor saws; - remote controlled machines. This European Standard covers electrical hazards by making reference to relevant European Standards (see 5.2). Those hazards that are relevant for all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and other equipment or machinery and that are dealt with in standards for common use are not covered by this European Standard.
