    Beskrivelse
This standard defines the requirements and classification that windows, doors, shutters and blinds must satisfy when tested in accordance with EN 1523. This standard is applicable to attacks by hand guns, rifles and shotguns on windows, doors, shutters and blinds complete with their frames and infills, for use in both internal and external locations in buildings. Shutters and Blinds must be tested separately and not in conjunction with a window or door, in order to achieve classification in terms of bullet resistance. This standard gives no information on the behavior of the test item when subjected to other types of stresses. It gives no information on the bullet resistance of the junction between the frame and the wall or other surrounding structure.

    Beskrivelse
This European Standard defines a test procedure to permit classification of the bullet resistance of windows, doors, shutters and blinds (complete with their infills). This European Standard concerns only behavior in respect of the frame of the windows, doors, shutters or blind, their infills and the junctions between the infills and frames. If the windows and doors are subjected to specific conditions of climate, specific conditions of test may be required. It does not apply to the testing of glass infills. For the testing of glass infills refer to prEN 1063. This European Standard gives no information on the behavior of the frame subjected to other types of stresses. It gives no information on the bullet resistance of the junction between the frame and the wall or other surrounding structure. Shutters and Blinds must be tested separately and not in conjunction with a window or door, in order to achieve classification in terms of bullet resistance.

Forslag om nyt arbejdsemne under udarbejdelse
    Beskrivelse
This European Standard specifies requirements, methods of test and performance criteria against which the compatibility of components and their performance can be assessed when used in combination to form an electrically controlled hold-open system. It also specifies requirements for the integrity of such hold-open systems when connected to fire detection and fire alarm systems or other systems, including the signal exchange and technical data for interfaces. This European Standard provides requirements for the application of electrically controlled hold-open systems used for fire/smoke doors in buildings, where such doors are required to be self-closing. It covers planning, design (see Annex A), installation (see Annex B), commissioning, use and maintenance (see Annex E) of hold-open systems, intended for the protection of life and/or the protection of property. This may also include hold-open systems, or components of the hold-open system, that are self-contained in a single enclosure. Electrically controlled hold-open systems manufactured, installed and serviced in accordance with this European Standard are recommended for use wherever there is a requirement for reliable hold-open and release of an individual self-closing fire/smoke door assembly in the case of fire. The use of hold-open systems for closures in conveyor systems conforming to EN 1366-7, which applies in conjunction with EN 1363-1, may require additional proof of suitability, which is not covered by this European Standard. This European Standard does not cover design, installation, commissioning, use and maintenance of building fire detection and fire alarm systems (covered by CEN/TS 54-14) but does cover the connection of hold-open systems conforming to this European Standard to building fire detection and fire alarm systems, under certain prescribed conditions. NOTE 1 – The sashes of side-hung shutters may have additional projecting shutter-inserts. The hardware for these projecting shutter-inserts is not covered by the scope of this European Standard. NOTE 2 – If due to the hardware fixing type or the dead weight of the described test shutter, this can not be used, a corresponding system sash with the same dimensions (800 mm wide ï‚´ 1 400 mm high) can be tested. This is particularly valid for hardware used exclusively in a complete modular system from a systems manufacturer (consisting of the hardware components, frame profiles and panel units as well as the necessary fixing materials). NOTE 3 – Tower bolts and locking-rods should conform to EN 12051. NOTE 4 – Fixings used to attach hardware to shutters are not covered by this European Standard. This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for durability, strength, security and functionality of mechanically operated multipoint locks and their locking plates for use in doors in buildings. This European Standard covers multipoint locks which are either manufactured and placed on the market in their entirety by one producer or assembled from sub-assemblies produced by more than one producer and subsequently placed on the market as a kit in a single transaction. This standard specifies Multipoint locks and locking systems intended for use in different environmental and security conditions, thus necessitating different grades. This European standard does not specify single point locks or their locking plates which are specified by EN 12209. This standard specifies the dimensions and properties required for security and for the assessment of smoke door suitability. This European standard is not applicable to cylinders, handles, locks for windows, padlocks, locks for safes, furniture locks or prison locks. Assessment of the contribution of the product to the fire resistance of specific fire/smoke resisting door assemblies is beyond the scope of this European Standard.

    Forslag om nyt arbejdsemne vedtaget
    Beskrivelse
This Standard specifies requirements and test methods for uncontrolled door closing devices, such devices being intended for fitting either singly, in multiples, or in combination with hinges. The Scope is limited to manually-operated, uncontrolled door closing devices for internal pedestrian door sets with single door leafs and with single action function. The energy for closing is generated by the user upon opening the door to at least 30 °, such that when the door is released, it returns to a closed position in an uncontrolled manner. NOTE 1 Controlled door closing devices are covered by EN 1154. Design samples in accordance with EN 1154. Annex C, Figure C1 are not considered as being uncontrolled door closing devices. NOTE 2 Design samples of uncontrolled door closing devices are shown in Annex F. Uncontrolled door closing devices with double action function are excluded from the scope of this Standard. This Standard also covers uncontrolled door closing devices which contain simple damping mechanisms without provision for adjusting (e.g. valves) the closing speed of the door leaf. This Standard also covers uncontrolled door closing devices incorporated in single axis hinges where, in addition to providing a closing function, the devices may also support the door leaf. Such spring hinges may be either load bearing or non-load bearing. Uncontrolled door closing devices manufactured in accordance with this Standard are recommended for use only on doors up to 1000 mm in width and 80 kg in mass and where users are expected to take care during operation. Uncontrolled door closing devices are intended for use on doors in buildings where there is a low frequency of use by people with a high incentive to exercise care and with a small chance of accidents occurring or misuse (e.g. domestic, housing or other living areas). The application of uncontrolled door closing devices manufactured in accordance with this Standard may be limited by national legislation.
