The hypsometrical tables are for use in
the calibration of aneroid/ manometer
type instruments used by aircraft and in
laboratory tests.
This Addendum consists of the following
tables which relate geopotential
altitude to atmospheric pressure :
a) geopotential altitude, in metres,
as a function of barometric pressure
between 5 and 20 hPa1) at intervals
of 0,Ol hPa (sec table 1);
b) geopotential altitude, in metres,
as a function of barometric pressure
between 20 and 1 200 hPa at intervals
of 0,l hPa (see table 2);
c) geopotential altitude, in metres,
as a function of barometric pressure
between 4 and 10 mmHg at intervals
of 0,Ol mmHg (sec table 3);
d) geopotential altitude, in metres,
as a function of barometric pressure
between 10 and 900 mmHg at intervals
of 0,l mmHg (sec table 4);
